The Dockland Summer Festival takes place this weekend May Sat 26th and Sun 27th. There are lots of different activities happening at the event, like, kayaking, paddleboarding etc. You can even try walking on weather in a “waterroller”. There are also lots of things for the children to do , such as face painting, decorating rubber ducks, balloon modelling, dress up and a variety of water activities. It will be a great family day out.
There will be world street dance performers, a juggling team, a great magician and a comedy circus show. There are lots of prizes to be won over the weekend. You could also try out the stand up paddling or kayaking classes for a half hour which run over both days and it will only cost €5 per person at the Waterways Ireland Visitor Centre.
