Piraha Tribe: New Language with no numbers
The Piraha Tribe in Brazil speak a language which contains no reference to numbers.
When speaking about quantities they refer to “Some”, “More” or “Less”.
The langauge is spoken by about 300 people in north west Brazil and was discovered as part of a study by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology USA.
