We are currently seeking a translation telesales executive for our sales team
Local UK and international clients regularly use STAR because they know time
they get the best native translations possible every time and that means they
win more business internationally. With 45 global offices, supporting over 100
languages - STAR is Europe's largest privately held translation company.
Description Role : Working directly with the Managing Director, you
will work to identify and acquire new clients:
- Cold calling new potential clients
- Complete Sales Cycle (Cold Calling, Quotes, Sales, Closing, Follow Up, CRM
The STAR sales team is a small friendly office. We work closely together on
all projects with our translation project managers. This role is an ideal
position for a results-focused team player. You get to work with some of the
largest companies in the world and the role can grow with your skills.
Requirements :
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills essential.
- Excellent numeric, and data management skills a must.
- Excellent written communications skills.
- Translation knowledge an advantage but not essential.
- Previous sales experience required.

At STAR in Dublin we operate a student placement program for students interested in translation project management.
If you would like to join our team during your term break or as part of a placement we would love to hear from you.
All student placements are full up for 2009.
*2010: We are now booking students for 2010 internships.

Typical Internships last from 5 to 6 months depending on the college.
