STAR Translation Services - Software Developer PHP/SQL

Role Objective:

STAR operates a number of database systems running on Apache/MySQL and PHP. All translation projects are managed using these systems on a daily basis.

Description Role.
We are currently seeking a PHP / SQL / HTML software developer.

The role involves:
• Ongoing Development and Maintenance of our current Project Management Database and Web Translation Portal.
• Development of specifications with the Director Production.
• Development of new tools for the translation production team.

The STAR production team is a young, small friendly office. We work closely together on all projects. This role is an ideal position for a results-focused team player. Your work is used everyday so you get immediate feedback on all solutions.

Requirements
PHP / MYSQL / HTML Coding experience
Excellent communication skills essential.

Student Internships


At STAR in Dublin we operate a student placement program for students interested in software development PHP/MySQL. If you would like to join our team during your term break or as part of a placement we would love to hear from you. We work with colleges in France, Spain an Germany for placements as well.

When you send your CV to us, be sure to let us know when you are available for an internship and how long you are looking for. Typical Internships last from 5 to 6 months depending on the college.
